The City of Alba will host an informational event on Renewable Energy Communities (REC) as part of the RECROSSES Project, co-financed by the ALCOTRA Interreg France-Italy ALCOTRA program. The event will take place on March 21, 2025, at 8:45 PM at the Sala Riolfo in Alba.
The event will focus on explaining the functioning of RECs, their benefits, and how to participate. Arch Stefano Dotta from Environment Park will present Energy Communities as an innovative model for energy production and sharing, based on renewable sources and collaboration among citizens, local authorities, and businesses.
During the evening, attendees will have the opportunity to learn about some RECs already operating in the area, such as:
- CERS of Rodello, presented by Don Valerio Pennasso
- CER Roero, presented by Daniele Demaria
- CERS Alba, Langhe, and Roero, presented by Lorenzo Cane
The representatives will share their experiences and answer questions, offering a concrete perspective on the benefits and challenges of RECs.
This event provides an important opportunity to explore the topic of sustainable energy and consider the possibility of joining or creating a REC in your area. The event is free and open to all interested parties.
