On Friday, 11 October, at the Palazzo della Regione Piemonte, project partners presented the results of the energy audits of selected buildings as part of the first GASLESS interest call.
This first group consists of 23 buildings owned by 8 beneficiary entities, all located in the metropolitan city of Turin, which will be the subject of the tender that will be prepared in the coming months for the implementation of the Energy Performance Contract (EPC).
In total, 9 school buildings, 1 sports hall, 1 fire station building, 6 buildings of the National Research Council – CNR and 6 of the National Institute for Metrological Research – INRIM were analyzed.
The energy diagnosis involves detecting and analysing the building-plant system and energy consumption, with the aim of identifying ways to reduce energy requirements and evaluating the possible interventions to be carried out from a cost-benefit point of view, Both at the building and plant level.
Among the interventions recommended for buildings of the first group are the insulation of perimeter walls, roofing, attic, replacement of windows, aimed at reducing the need for thermal energy, and the installation of photovoltaic systems for the electrical side.
On the project site, it is possible to see the buildings forming the group and their characteristics.
