Two calls for proposals on energy efficiency and renewables in public buildings are still open.

Two calls for proposals addressed to public bodies from the Piedmont Region are open until 22nd of November, such as:

Both promote investments for the implementation of energy efficiency projects and the promotion of renewable energies in order to reduce the energy consumption of public buildings and their climate-related emissions.

The interventions are co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) 2021-2027 for the following actions:

  • Action II.2i.1 – Energy efficiency in public buildings
  • Action II.2ii.1 – Promotion of the use of renewable energies in public buildings

The measures regarding the installation of renewable energy plants for the production of heat and electricity must be combined with measures to improve energy efficiency, that have therefore received a contribution from the present calls or under the previous programming 2014-2020.

In both cases, the potential beneficiaries are: Municipalities, which can participate individually or in association through temporary groups, Provinces, Metropolitan City of Turin, Unions of Municipalities and Mountain Unions of Municipalities, Instrumental Bodies of the Piedmont Region, Other local government entities wholly public-sector regional included in the consolidated profit and loss account identified pursuant to art. 1, paragraph 3 of the law 31/12/2009, n. 196 and ss.mm.
