Still open the call for proposals for energy efficiency and renewable energies in companies

The enterprises of all sizes located in Piedmont have time until 22 November 2024 to apply for the regional call for proposals aimed at supporting measures that make energy-efficient activities related to production cycles and their buildings, including by installing renewable energy plants for the production of heat and electricity, thereby reducing CO2 emissions.
The interventions are co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) 2021-2027 for the following actions:

  • Action II.2.i.2 – Energy efficiency in enterprises, including high-efficiency cogeneration; rationalisation of production cycles; energy efficiency of buildings; installation of building automation systems; development of innovative energy-saving processes.
  • Action II.2ii.2 – Promotion of the use of renewable energies in enterprises, including high-efficiency cogeneration plants, renewable sources plants for the production of electricity through the exploitation of hydro and solar energy photovoltaic; renewable energy plants for the production of thermal energy through the exploitation of geothermal, solar thermal or biomass energy; hydrogen production; storage/storage systems.

The grant, which may cover up to 100% of the eligible costs of the investment, consists of a soft loan and a grant portion. The total budget for the two actions is € 53,637,000, of which € 28,137,000 are for energy efficiency action and € 25,500,000 for renewable energy promotion. The proposed measures of the energy diagnosis, which the firm must carry out on the basis of its consumption in the two previous years and which must be attached to the application, may be financed.

These measures will result in savings in terms of energy costs and, consequently, also greater competitiveness of companies on the markets, with a view to sustainability and combating climate change.
