The Ministry of Environment and Energy Security, in collaboration with RENAEL, the National Network of Local Energy Agencies, has launched a national One Stop Shop (OSS) to support the creation and development of Renewable Energy Communities (RECs).
The initiative will last until December 2027 and includes the creation and enhancement of open OSS, managed by 12 Local Agencies coordinated by RENAEL. They will be reference points and provide technical, regulatory and administrative support to accelerate the formation of RECs and facilitate access to the incentives provided.
Some OSS are already operational in regions such as Piedmont, where it was implemented under the RECROSSES project and is managed by Environment Park. In this initiative, Environment Park, as a Local Agency associated with RENAEL, will play a strategic role in the development of innovative tools such as energy tools and digital platforms, and training of staff to ensure the replicability of the model in areas not yet covered.
Thanks to the involvement of the 12 Local Agencies, the project will ensure a nationwide support, contributing significantly to the energy transition and the dissemination of sustainable models for local communities.
